Bryan & Tanner: The Original Cut

A love story, art directed.

Created for our original 2020 wedding at Syndicated—a cinema turned bar and restaurant in Brooklyn—this identity drew from the venue’s rich interiors and our shared love of movies. I wanted every detail to feel cinematic, sexy, glamorous, and dignified: distinctly queer, deeply personal, and worthy of the occasion.

I conceived and created the complete experience, including the identity, copy, invitations, website, signage, menus, apparel, packaging, décor, favors, and branded takeaways for every guest. I also selected queer illustrator Hey Rooney and fully art directed a custom portrait that became the emotional center of the system.

Our plans eventually moved west and transformed into an entirely different, sun-soaked Las Vegas celebration. Although this original concept never reached its intended venue, it remains a complete expression of how I approach even the most personal work: build a world, consider every touchpoint, and make the story unmistakably its own.
