Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks 50:
Limited-Edition Tee
A wearable memory. A bold brand flex.
For the 50th anniversary of Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, I saw an opportunity to turn a milestone identity into something employees would genuinely want to wear. I originated the concept, found and selected Phangs, and led the brief, copy, creative direction, feedback, and execution from start to finish.
Rather than create standard corporate merchandise, I made the strategic call to let the product stretch beyond the master campaign. Inspired by vintage concert tees and New York destination souvenirs, the design transforms fireworks, landmarks, and Americana into something contemporary, collectible, and unmistakably Macy’s.
Gifted exclusively to employees, the limited-edition tee became an immediate internal hit—proof that brand history can feel current, culturally alive, and just seriously cool.
